A clever lawyer could haggle the OTHER way- that Americans born in America aren’t American, the amendment would pose a grave inequality upon birth, or that insurance companies wouldn’t have to carry any of the child’s care or complications once born, if they aren’t technically citizens.

Or entitled to SNAP. Or housing considerations.

that ain't ever gonna happen. plus if when the americans grow up, they will have to pay taxes, no matter where they live. IRS should really step up and collect taxes from those overseas.
