OK, I have to take issue with Kermit. It was a family name that my parents thankfully stopped with my brothers and I.

But I am thinking of readopting it. The hard K has a kind of German dominance about it. Like Goebbles demands attention.

by Anonymousreply 113June 8, 2023 12:29 PM

Tina and Elizabeth are extremely common names with multiple famous bearers. The queen was literally the second of her name. Even "Queen Elizabeth" repeats throughout history as the name of multiple consorts, and that's just in the UK. "Tina" is derivative of multiple formal names. Yes, Tina Turner is the most famous, but there's also Fey, Brown, and Louise, among many others.

by Anonymousreply 114June 8, 2023 12:33 PM

R114 I was referring to the Queen of America’s mom. Tina Knowles Lawson.

by Anonymousreply 115June 8, 2023 1:01 PM
