I'd like to address Ron DeSantis's Ivy career. First, I believe he got into Yale due to his HS baseball prowess - he was part of a Little League national championship and I believe he could have been recommended by a Yale grad in Florida.

The Harvard Law School admission also seems strange. He would have to have really great grades, recommendations, and LSAT to get in - particularly for a white male.

He spent a year after Yale teaching at some private school in Georgia. That's not typically the track you take for law school admission - you'd work at a private law practice or prosecution office.

He then went into JAG - which may explain how he got in? The Justice Dept for the military isn't a likely or desirable path for most Harvard law grads.

I think he's of above average intelligence, but this guy doesn't seem THAT smart. I know politics is a game and he may be playing a role, but let's not think he had to be brilliant to go to Yale and Harvard Law. There are some other influences at play here I think that no one is talking about.
