San Francisco jury deadlocks in trial over murdered gay photographer
Ed French, a 71 San Francisco photographer, was murdered at Twin Peaks park. French was killed in broad daylight and was defensless. Fantasy Decuir and Lamonte Mims robbed French of his camera and then killed him.
Defense attorneys claimed Decuir was undergoing a "sickle cell crisis" and both were experiencing opiod withdrawal and could not be held responsible for their actions that day. The pair had been robbing tourists that month they killed French.
The jury deadlocked on the murder charges after several days of deliberating.

The murder happened in 2017 and they still haven’t received just punishment even though there is zero doubt they did it. The victim’s partner has been to over 80 court appearances over six fucking years; that poor man. Unimaginable.
