1960 - 2020 Who is (or was) the ONE AND ONLY Queen of Rock and Roll?
Everyone's typing it has been Tina Turner. Do you agree?

Before Janis, didn't all the chicks have bouffants and sing about boys dumping them?

Can we add more to the list?

If we're talking ROCK, not pop or pop-rock its Anne Wilson hands down. However, if we're talking pop-rock that would be Tina.

I meant to swap out the second Janis for Patti Smith. I mean I really dug Patti when I was a kid. But she's kind of humourless and has no joy.

Not a big fan but it’s gotta be Janis.

Janis is the best but I voted for Tina because Janis wasn’t around long enough. Tina was great for decades. I prefer Janis’ songs though.

I suppose I should have swapped out Joni for Patti. Growing up, people just classified Joni as R&R thought she always flitted around genres. She's still often mentioned as a great "Rock & Roll" singer.
