I was thinking egg or tuna sandwich. Or, maybe roast beef?
I know a burger is a sandwich but it just doesn’t SEEM like one in my head!

^ You wouldn't eat it anyway.

PP&J? Are you expecting Trump to cast a vote?

A Reuben - corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian Dressing (Wishbone version), on New York rye. With loaded potato salad, and either bread-n-butter pickles, or pickled okra.

After seeing that egg salad sandwich, now I want one...even though I voted for a BLT.

Not a traditional favorite but I love a good Monte Cristo or French Dip. Now those are SANDWICHES

Egg salad is my worst nightmare.

I'm into complex grilled cheeses with multiple types of cheese, carmelized onions, tomato, etc etc. And a cup of soup or side salad. Round that out with an iced tea. Perfect lunch!

I like egg salad provided the eggs are not over cooked and there’s nothing weird in it, but a fried egg sandwich is hard to beat.
Homegrown tomato sandwiches on fresh bread with a LIGHT layer of Dukes mayonnaise on both slices of bread is my favorite.

I could eat a good chicken salad sandwich a few times a week for lunch. But a Reuben sandwich is really the ultimate.

A BLT when tomatoes are in season is the best. Crisp bacon with thick, juicy tomato slices is a great salty/sweet balance.

No pastrami option? What am I, chopped liver?

I picked tuna b/c that is something I actually make at home and eat. Genova brand, oil-packed, with Best Foods mayo, Tabasco sauce, and sweet pickle relish. But I serve it on Triscuit crackers instead of bread.

Rare roast beef (Wegman’s American Kobe when they have it) and sliced Swiss cheese on a lightly toasted Miami onion roll with horseradish crème and a Nathan’s dill pickle slice. Perfection.
An infused black cherry soda with it tastes a lot better than Dr. Brown’s, too.

Red onion, black olive, ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone

Ham and (kosher dill) pickle salad on toasted rye.

Can it be any sandwich?

I'd really like a turkey sandwich with provolone on toasted sourdough. With some cole slaw on the side.

I like a BLT without the T. I think tomatoes are a slimy, wet presence on sandwiches. Lettuce is always welcome.

Let’s leave it open faced and make avocado toast with chopped tomatoes and some red onion, topped with feta and balsamic drizzle.
