Wanda Sykes' new special
It's her first in four years, so she covers Jan 6, the pandemic, George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, among other topics.
She's probably my favorite contemporary stand-up comic. Super smart and foul-mouthed in equal measure. She can switch from home life to politics in an instant, and her delivery is just funny.
On Netflix. Has anyone seen it?

She’s hilarious. Great political humor. Love her hair too.

I watched it yesterday. I thought it was very good. I love it when she does her wife character.

Oh I don't R2. I used to love her too, I even still watch Wanda at Large on youtube. I downloaded her last album when I had a long drive and it was not very good. Lots of frau shit about her wife and kids, I don't think it made me laugh once. I'm happy for her though but when comics get married and do shit about their spouse and kids, it's not as funny. If this is less family and more political though, I'd watch. I even watch that sitcom she's on on Netflix, the Upshaws, she's good on that. She was fucking great in the new History of the world, also.
