This woman is talking into a camera about 'living her authentic queer self," and it's just so cringey and random. Seriously, it's one of the weirdest commercials, and she's one of the strangest-looking girls I've seen in a long time. She's skeletal looking but with a small head and a large protruding face and chin. She's young, I think, but she has the sort of look of an old woman who's had surgery to look young, or as if she's a CGI of her younger self. She's going on and on about her bravery in coming out "queer". At the end of the commercial, she cringles her nose and says, "If you can SEE her... you can be her"... I don't even know what that means!!! I get the efforts to empower young people, but the self-martyrdom and sanctimony of GenZ people is literally off the charts at this point. It's not a generational gap type of frustration. It's just insufferable and oppressive to hear these people go on and on about their struggle and bravery as if they're the first ones to do anything, completely lost to how good they actually have it. I had the shit beat out of me growing up. Lived through AIDS, we all fought for marriage equality. But GenZ is somehow the "brave" generation?!? Jesus!
