I bet this is why Corrine Foxx was being so cagey. She didnāt want her deal fall through.

All of a sudden I am finding that people are showing up in long term rehab for Long Haul COVID.
I wonder.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 15, 2023 10:42 PM |
I'm not surprised by that, R6!

by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 15, 2023 10:55 PM |
I dunno, R9, maybe BECAUSE IT'S HIS OWN PERSONAL BUSINESS?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 15, 2023 10:56 PM |
R10, Then why did his people make his situation public?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 15, 2023 11:01 PM |
The insurability of actors is a major Show Business concern.

He was released from the hospital and transferred to the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (formerly RIC), one of the top rehab facilities for stroke and accident victims in the country. As a patient they get you out of bed and doing exercises and "games" multiple times a day. So the comment about "pickle ball" is not that farfetched. My brother is a patient there. Terrific facility and amazing physical therapists.

[quote] I dunno, [R9], maybe BECAUSE IT'S HIS OWN PERSONAL BUSINESS?
What a laughably hypocritical thing to post (especially in all-caps) on a gay gossip forum.
Or do you pretend you only come here for Greg's recipes?

Nothing really unusual here..
It has been fairly common for about two or more decades to discharge various patients to rehabilitation "hospitals" or whatever if they require further nursing care but aren't ill enough to remain in hospital.
Days of spending weeks or months in hospital recovering from surgery, illness, or whatever else was cause of admission are long gone. Unless you are acutely ill and or there are specific reasons why cannot be discharged to rehab or home, you're leaving that hospital.
Rehab has become so common that for also a good few decades student nurses often do their part or all of their med-surg I and maybe II at rehab facilities. That is where patients who once were in hospital for several days or longer often can be found.
Fact Jamie Fox was discharged to rehab and not home is telling. Whatever medical emergency that caused him to be admitted to hospital left him on a road to recovery that couldn't (or shouldn't) be done at home.
