The new bunch are just so unlikable, particularly the fashion midget.

Netflix has really overexposed these queens by producing FAR too many episodes.

I still enjoy the show, and I actually love JVN and Tan (sorry), but continue to find Antoni's "recipes" shoehorned into every episode a complete waste of time.

R9/OP. I haven't watched since season 4 but it was always clear that they just had to give Antoni something to do. I think he's got a bit of flack over his tenure for not really doing anything. And when he does do something it doesn't seem that well thought out.

Maybe that's the producers fault, but who knows.

Frankly, it seems this show is only really continued to give the group a paycheck.

Finished the season. Not bad, but not as great as earlier seasons. And the shortest so far, with only 7 episodes.

I still think they need to drop Antoni and Karamo, though Antoni in the bird hat was the first time I’ve enjoyed him on the show.

Antoni has a lovely ass. I’d love to see a sex tape from him.

What do they do the rest of the year once they’re done filming their 7 episodes? Is it enough for them to live on? If they get $10,000 an episode, that’s only $70,000 a year.

R16 that's more than some make in a year. Plenty of people and families living off of $40k or below, hard and sad as that is.

R9/R11 to me Antoni seems well-meaning and sweet and game to try, but also really dim and sheltered and dependent. The others (well, perhaps not JVN, unless we're talking about hairstying or drag) strike me as savvy and skilled if not basically intelligent, enough to make themselves useful anyway. Perhaps they all feel sorry for Antoni and want to protect him, like a vulnerable (sugar) baby. He has got those big sad 'love me' doe eyes and a demeanour like he wants to be looked after.

I'm realize I'm out of touch, but at what point did Karamo become such a flaming queen?

I remember him from "The Real World". They actually cast two gay guys that season, and he was supposedly the straight-acting, masculine top one. The other one was a more effeminate, slightly-built Latino as I recall, and it later came out that Karamo gave him a good, drunken ass-pounding or two during the season, but they never showed it.

I never watch Queer Eye. JonathanVN is friends with Fake Trans Dylan Mulvaney....Karamo is a Springer wannabe. Look at his shows. DNA TESTS. I'm not gay...Sleeping with my Momma...

Karamo in no way deserves his own talk show.

R22 It's a cheap show and he isn't even good at it. The only difference between his show and Springers is Karamo hasn't filled seats with hillbillies (yet).

This concept was tired before the first series aired twenty years ago. I had to do an internet search to find out that Bobby Berk is the name of the guy I think is most attractive in the link photo. But the more I looked at him, the more turned off I became. I was REALLY turned off when I saw his husband (and I'm a fan of Asian men).

In the original series, Kyan Douglas & Ted Allen (who from what I can gather is a really boring personality...if you're going to be geeky, at least be interesting) were my favorites on the few episodes I watched. I really think Kyan would be a lot of fun in bed.

I think Bobby is smart and is making money through his own product lines. Antoni has some cookbook and a very hot, smart BF, so he's probably doing okay. He's being wearing a lot of Thom Brown this season.

R20, I get the sense that it's the producers' doing, as if he and the others were told, "Okay, but can you be a LOT more OTT? Viewers love it!"

On a related note, what I found most (pleasantly) surprising this season was the episode during which JVN dressed as/mimicked Tan. He looked fantastic with short white hair, and he dropped his voice down to its natural (deeper) register so viewers got to hear his "real" voice.
