Nicky and Ally are HAWT! The two actors work well together, and the hand-holding on the romantic walkabout was cute.

Yet I can't help but think that the promise of a 'we'll be together soon' for a happily-ever-after sounds like telegraphing of a soap tragedy in the making. ;(

Disappointed in how they ended Nicky and Ally.

And I thought they were really taking it too far with Ally going all moral on Nicky and dumping him, because "he's not the man he fell in love with."

Ally was fine being on the downlow with Nicky, - in other words okay with the cheating - even wanting Nicky to party all night and have sex with him, the night before the wedding. But when he finds out about the larceny - which was all Caleb's doing - he unceremoniously dumps Nicky? .. Nicky was a pawn in the whole scheme and being psychologically manipulated and even physically assaulted by his father to go along with it.

And in the end, Nicky did EXACTLY what Ally wanted him to do and didn't go through with the wedding, coming clean with Gabby. Yet, his reward is getting dumped by Ally? WTF?

Maybe they didn't want to show anyone have a happy ending, but I was really hoping for a "runaway groom" scenario where Ally would be more the romantic hero, and drive Nicky off into the sunset to begin their new life together with Caleb seeing them escape and speed away in that MINI.

Surprised Chas didn't bring up Aaron when Caleb was talking about Nicky being gay
