I hate this idea.
Why? Are the sets sturdier?

Does she like Broadway musicals?

R2 yes! I’m hoping this is a sign that she’ll be somehow involved in the theatre industry.

Why on earth would you care that she wants her show to be filmed in LA OP?
She wants to move to NY, probably to pursue a Broadway opportunity.

Is "From Justin to Kelly" being developed into a musical?

With so many talk shows in NY now, there's gonna be a lot of competition for guests. There used to be more of a balance, like when Carson was in LA and Letterman was in NY. And with Corden gone, the only major late-night show in LA will be Kimmel. And daytime will just have Jennifer Hudson.

Can't fucking stand this heifer.

R7 Oddly enough Kelly Pickler was way more entertaining as a talk show host. And he co-host Ben was hot too. Kelly Clarksons show just isn't fun to watch.

But the fraus love her because she's just like them, y'all!

R4 - shows that are based in NY become completely NY-centric over time. It’s exhausting after a while.
Also, if an LA-based entertainer visits NY for one show, they’ll be on every 30Rock show that week. If someone is starting on SNL one week, they’ll be on Today, Fallon, and a Seth Meyers in the same week.
The studios in NY are about 40% the size of a California set. And the audiences are about 40% as joyous.
Have I explained my irritation?

This is true, and I hate it. I don't watch Fallon but I do watch Today and Seth Meyers, and they'll often have the same actor who's plugging a project on all three iterations of Today and Meyers, when they might also be appearing on Colbert the next night or the night before. It's so boring.
