GIANT ASSHOLE Jackson Mahomes arrested, booked on sexual battery warrant

Jackson Mahomes was arrested Wednesday morning on a warrant for aggravated sexual battery and booked into the Johnson County jail, records show.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mahomes about 7 a.m. and booked him into the jail at 7:42 a.m., according to the booking report. He was being held on a $100,000 bond.

The case listed in the booking report was not yet available from the Johnson County District Court. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police previously confirmed they were investigating a Feb. 25 incident involving Mahomes at an Overland Park restaurant near West 151st Street and Metcalf Avenue where Mahomes was accused of assaulting a waiter and the owner of the business.

In separate incidents, Mahomes, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, allegedly shoved a 19-year-old male waiter more than once and then forcibly kissed the 40-year-old female owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, 6995 W. 151st St.

Police said they were reviewing the establishment’s surveillance video recordings from that night as part of their investigation, restaurant owner Aspen Vaughn previously told The Star.

An attorney for Mahomes previously contended that he did nothing wrong.

“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter,” Brandan Davies, Mahomes’ attorney, said in a statement in early March.

Davies of the law firm Roth Davies LLC would not comment on Wednesday, saying in an email that “the court has prohibited the defendant and lawyers from commenting on the matter.”

Vaughn and the waiter both relayed their experiences with Mahomes in interviews with The Star in early March.

The waiter, who in previous conversations with The Star asked not to be named, said that night, Mahomes came into the restaurant with a group of about five friends.

Mahomes, who is a social media influencer, and his entourage went into the restaurant’s basement office, then wouldn’t let waiter in when he tried to go inside to get his water bottle, he said. Mahomes then pushed him and told him to get out, the waiter alleged.

Shortly after, Vaughn said Mahomes asked to speak with her privately about the shoving incident. Once in her office, Mahomes allegedly grabbed Vaughn’s neck with enough force that it left a faint bruise that was evident in a photograph she later provided The Star.

Vaughn also provided The Star with a video that she said showed Mahomes grabbing her by the throat and kissing her at least twice in her office a little after 10 p.m.

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” she said, calling the advances unwelcome and shocking, adding that she thought he was intoxicated.

The most consuming aspect about this case is the fact the victim was a woman.

YES, R1!!!!!

Jackson is 100% gay.

But I think he kissed her just for shock value, and also to be a major asshole.

He is trash, just like Patrick's horrid wife.

Patrick must be the people pleasing type who avoids conflict. He’s on track to be the most famous American athlete of his generation. If not for his stupid woman and brother he’d be the ultimate dream of any marketing machine. Maybe he has been very very stern with them in private but it really seems like he enables all of his brothers horseshit.

Which is why I think Patrick's "handlers" are going to force him to distance himself from his grifting brother.

Patrick Mahomes is a very nice guy. He loves his family.

But Jackson takes advantage of that, and he has embarrassed Patrick numerous times in public.

I think enough is enough, and he needs to cut Jackson out of his life.

Jackson is a liability.

Good. The way he grabbed the woman’s neck and face was scary. She must’ve been terrified- he’s a big guy.

Send him to jail.

I never saw the video until now, R10.

You're right.

That was a serious grab.

Jackson Mahomes appeared in court Wednesday afternoon after he was charged with three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of misdemeanor battery in an alleged assault of an Overland Park restaurant owner and waiter in February.

Charges were filed Tuesday in Johnson County District Court and a warrant was issued for 22-year-old Mahomes, of Leawood, court records show.

The social media influencer and brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was arrested Wednesday morning.

He was being held on a $100,000 bond.

Mahomes’ brief appearance, which was streamed on Zoom, lasted about a minute and his next court date was set for May 11.

The three sexual battery charges each allege that Jackson Mahomes touched the victim, who was identified by initials, without her consent with “the intent to arouse or satisfy” his or another’s sexual desires while the victim was overcome by force or fear, according to court documents.

The battery charge alleges that Mahomes came into physical contact with another victim in a “rude, insulting, or angry manner.”

As condition of his bond, he is not to use alcohol or firearms. He is also not to use illegal drugs or controlled substances, and must submit to testing when directed. He is also not allowed to contact victims or go to their homes or place of employment.

He also cannot comment publicly about the case or the alleged victim or her business.

Police previously confirmed they were investigating a Feb. 25 incident involving Mahomes at an Overland Park restaurant near West 151st Street and Metcalf Avenue where Mahomes was accused of assaulting a waiter and the owner of the business.

^^^ Wow! He couldn't even wear a suit to his arraignment?!

He may be mentally ill or neuro-diverse and the family just doesn't know how to properly contain him or keep him on meds. He deserves to live a life, even a contemptible one, as long as he doesn't hurt anyone.

[quote] He was being held on a $100,000 bond.

Patrick Mahomes must have put up the money for this.

Jackson does nothing. He doesn't even have a job. I think his brother just gives him cash.

Jackson claims he is an "influencer," but I highly doubt anyone pays him to promote their brands.

The guy is toxic.

by Anonymousreply 14May 5, 2023 3:32 PM

I think Patrick is as gay as his brother.

[quote] Jackson Mahomes Escapes Three Felony Charges, Still Faces A Misdemeanor

Jackson Mahomes, younger brother of NFL star Patrick Mahomes, gained a massive milestone in the sexual assault case filed against him by a restaurant owner.

The media personality was accused of non-consensual misconduct by a woman named Aspen Vaughn, an incident that allegedly occurred in February 2023. Since the lawsuit surfaced, Jackson’s lawyer had actively advocated his innocence, and a judge recently ruled in his favor.

The sexual misdemeanor allegations against the NFL star’s brother saw him facing three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one misdemeanor battery charge. However, the three felony charges against Jackson were dismissed by a judge in a recent hearing.

The motion to drop these charges was filed by the Johnson County Assistant District Attorney Megan Ahsens on Tuesday, January 2. While Jackson no longer has to worry about the felony counts, his misdemeanor battery charge remains.

The charges were filed against him through the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office for allegedly assaulting the female victim. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s younger sibling was accused of grabbing Vaughn by her neck and kissing her against her will on February 25, 2023.

The alleged crime occurred in the woman’s Aspens Restaurant and Lounge business in Overland Park, a suburb part of Kansas City. According to reports, investigators claimed Jackson pushed a waiter who attempted to access the room he was in with Vaughn.

After chasing the waiter away, he grabbed Vaughn and reportedly kissed her three times without consent. In her conversation with authorities, the restaurant owner described Jackson as her step-daughter’s friend and noted he had once been asked to leave her establishment.

Despite the scary picture painted by prosecutors, they had to drop the three counts of aggravated sexual battery against Jackson following an affidavit from Vaughn’s attorneys. The alleged victim refused to testify in the case, leaving only the misdemeanor charge for allegedly shoving the waiter.

A jury trial relating to this battery count will occur on March 25; however, Jackson’s attorney believes everything will work out in his client’s favor. Per ET, Brandan Davies raved about his confidence in winning the case in a statement, declaring:

“Like I said from the beginning, Jackson has done nothing wrong. We had full confidence that the truth of the matter would ultimately be revealed. The defense will reserve further comment until the remaining count is disposed of.”

As for Vaughn, her business closed last August following the negative attention generated by the sexual assault case. Many seemed to support Jackson as the restaurant was reportedly vandalized after the quarterback’s brother received his now-dismissed charges.
