At this point I think I know more about Meghan Trainor than I know about my own family. The TMI queen is at it again in the latest episode of the Workin’ On It podcast she cohosts with her older brother, Ryan Trainor.
During the episode, the “Mother” singer went into detail—perhaps too much detail—about her sex life with husband Daryl Sabara. Essentially, she wishes that she could shrink his penis because it is just too big. Trainor has been married to the Spy Kids star since 2018. This information has possibly ruined Robert Rodriguez’s 2001 classic for me.
Trainor said that she has anxiety about sex, which can sometimes be so painful that she cannot walk after. “My husband is a big boy,” she said. “My pussy is broken, though. I have pussy anxiety.” She shared that she has been diagnosed with vaginismus, which the Cleveland Clinic defines as “an involuntary tensing of the vagina,” which people can experience at the beginning of sex, making intercourse painful. Before the diagnosis, she had assumed sex was painful for all women.
“[It’s] to the point where I’m like ‘Is it all in?’ and he’s like, ‘Just the tip,’” Trainor said. “And I’m like, ‘I can’t do anymore.’ I don’t know how to fix that. Do I stretch? I wish I could make Daryl smaller. It’s painful, dude.” After they are intimate with each other, Trainor says she “can’t walk.”
Trainor also discussed her sex life after giving birth to her first child, Riley, in 2021. Post-pregnancy, she feared intimacy for a year. “Do not look at me, do not touch me,” Trainor said she’d told Sabara. “It took me so long to even consider having sex with him.”
But Meghan Trainor, who just shared the gender of baby number two, who is on the way (it’s a boy), remains positive about the future of her sex life. “I’m gonna figure it out,” she said. “I’m gonna be a star at sex.” If she does or even if she doesn’t we will certainly hear about it, whether we want to or not.
