WHET Jennifer Lawrence?

I started re-watching this same series too & I'm really struck by how those movies did not age well. I don't really think that's her fault, but particularly the 2nd & 3rd movies are not good.

I remember seeing her in Winter’s Bone and seeing the raw talent.

Harvey bragged about sleeping with Jennifer Lawrence.

Aronofsky ruined her.

Her looks changed drastically between the first Hunger Games movie, and Mockingjay Part 2.

She looked like she had major plastic surgery.

Jennifer looked so beautiful in the first movie, and she was all pussy and swollen in the last movie.

Jennifer is so pretty. And talented.

She didn't have to sleep with that disgusting pig Weinstein, to become famous.

I really agree with r2. If you haven't seen it, Winters' Bone is a very good movie and she is excellent in it.

She could have been a solid Laurie Metcalf but chose another route and failed.

They tried to sell her as the next Julia Roberts but with the acting prowess of Meryl Streep. Everybody quickly saw that she was a phony when she tripped the second time at the Oscars as well as her cunty ways like in the press briefing room at the Globes and how she avoids fan encounters. Also, box office numbers don't lie. You saw that she was all hype once her non-franchise films started bombing.

I'm sure she's set for life with two franchises but she'll take anything at this point. She's got a baby to feed and her so called husband has been out of a job for months.

I'm not a fan at all but I don't get why people make a big deal of the fact that she fucked for roles. Nearly 50% of actors and 70% of actresses use the casting couch.

I like her but she fell from the top pretty quickly. Sleeping with Harvey and the leaked nudes really tainted her.

She was fine in Don’t Look Uo but getting $20 million for that?

If you look at any actor who has a very long career, their credits usually ebb and flow. No one stays red-hot consistently year after year. She’s a very talented actress and is very well established.

Dylan O'Brien's career imploded about the same time as Jennifer's.

Except that his franchise didn't make as much money as The Hunger Games.

Now they're both in no-man's-land, career wise.
