Info about the remake. Will star James McEvoy and be directed by the guy who did Eden Lake which is a pretty good match tonally.

The 6.5 was to temper expectations.

I really dig a LONG build up. Many will say "NOTHING HAPPENED!"

Most people do not like films like this.

I dug this. It was disturbing.. Had some real truths...Some IMDB reviews about "Dutch life" kind of made me vibe with the film even more.

I actually just rewatched.

I had forgotten the first 5 minutes and there is alot of detail to this which you can easily miss.

I have not rewatched a horror film within 24 hours in a long time either.

Raising this to a solid 7.5 :)

They should have made this film a black comedy - which it actually was in the great first half. But the moment the film went full-on horror it became yawn-inducing. I'm still glad I made it to the end though, because the lead actor showed his cute Danish cocklet shortly before the end credits roll.
