The judge followed the prosecutors' recommendations which were merely suggestions and, frankly, lenient ones at that. The judge could have made an example of Munchel as he made himself the subject of one of the most iconic images from that terrible day. I would have cheered if the "judge" had thrown "the fucking book" at them, but the "judge" did not. No, the "judge" gave these two traitors every benefit of doubt, prevented disruption to one of their life events, and pronounced them "basically good people"... or if that doesn't ring a bell, maybe the "judge" should have said "there were very fine people on both sides!"
