Am I the only one who finds Succession overrated?

I've never watched it, though.

I put up with it for one season. I hated Kieran Culkin's character especially. I started the second season, but didn't make it through the first episode. Such unpleasant people.

I haven't watched, but I also hate Jeremy Strong because I've heard he's a smug asshole.

What exactly are you watching that’s so much better, OP? Care to offer us a superior alternative?

I don’t watched this recent episode and it was really overrated. All any of the surviving family members could say is “What? What?”

Not great drama.

I am with the OP. I don't understand the critical acclaim.

I started watching again after skipping seasons 2 and 3.

The dialogue is flaccid and the acting not much better. It would be more fun to watch paint dry.

I hate that ignorant British slob Brian Cox.

I tried to watch it & just couldn’t.

It’s as bad as EEAAO.

We are watching season 2 now and I hate almost all of the characters such that when there is one seen onscreen who has good or possibly redeemable qualities, my partner and I point it out & discuss them.

I find myself alternating as to which Roy sibling I despise the most. We see relatively more of Shiv, Roman & Kendall as compared to Conner so that may be why I really react in wanting to vigorously slap his smarmy, entitled face nearly every time he is in a scene.

In view of all of the above, it's becoming exhausting to view more than 1 episode in a sitting as we try to advance through the episodes I have dvr'd.

Greg thankfully gives us some relief & comic moments from that character type.
