30 years ago, there was a Broadway fundraiser on EBay and celebrities contributed their own original works of art. Jeffrey Holder donated a pair of hand painted denim jeans that he signed. They were loud and colorful, oversized, iirc. Since EBay was new and relatively unknown the items being auctioned were all pretty affordable. Nothing sold for over a few hundred dollars. I wanted to bid, but had just graduated college and was looking for work. I really wanted those jeans. I wonder who won that auction.
