I wonder if Sally Rooney’s 3rd book will be adapted into a mini-series also. Normal People is such a delightful read and series, while I found Conversations with Friends just ok, both as a book and as a series.

R2 I am not OP, but I am currently watching it and on episode 5 now and it’s fine, but nothing great. I would give it a watch if I were you. You may enjoy it but it’s pretty basic, a story about a very young writer in college and her American best friend who moved to Dublin when she was a kid who meet a very successful and wealthy writer and her theatre actor husband, and the young college student begins an affair with the husband.

It would be more liked and better received if people stopped comparing it to Normal People, which is a series most loved, and it became very popular and still is 3 years later. Conversations only similarity to People is who wrote it. They’re nothing alike.

I do wonder if “Beautiful World, Where Are You” will ever be adapted.
