What did he say that was so wrong? Why is Kid Rock and everyone else freaking out about a brand ambassador for Budweiser? How is that impacting anyone's day? Just stop drinking Bud and if enough people care it will affect their sales and they will make a change. This reminds me of the outrage when Cheerios showed an interracial couple in their commercial. Some of the things people get outraged about is just silly.

He has changed his views. He was always more progressive than most hosts, he had lesbian dial a date decades ago. He featured gay interns like Gay Rich decades ago and has developed a live-and-let-live attitude. He supports gay rights and trans rights. He supported Hillary to Donald's face. He was a Republican but their strong lean to ultra-conservative has lost him. He was fascinated by how DJT changed. How the man who paid for multiple abortions, was suddenly against abortion. The man who never stepped into a church was suddenly in love with god, and the man who bragged about cheating on his wives was suddenly the leader of the moral majority.

I don't think he said anything wrong either, R20. But any long-time listener will remember Siobhan's many appearances on the show and recall that she wasn't always treated with respect. Her vaginoplasty was the centerpiece of several gross-out stunts, like the High Pitch Mike TV contest.

I'm always surprised at the people who think people can't evolve. I bet some of you had parents and family members who weren't all that thrilled about you coming out and they eventually came around. People change, many people don't stay stuck in one belief their entire life. Howard, in my opinion, was always quite liberal in his thinking.

So far no one has articulated an answer to Howard's basic question: why do you care so fucking much?

Howard was once way more crass and juvenile, but he hasn't really changed drastically politically. I guess there are things that he never even used to speak about which he'll actively support now. But, it's not like he's done a complete 180 on major political issues.
