"Vacations" are for the working class.

I used to just like traveling to places with some interesting history and then I went on a strictly beach vacation —it was awesome!!

I have never had sex on vacation actually. I just don’t feel totally comfortable outside the US, not understanding the sex customs and such for gay men

I like vacations in gay areas—PTown, Palm Springs, San Francisco

Generally, I prefer cities with history and cultural attractions (museums, restaurants, theatre, music). But I have also just flown to an area, rented a car, and just made my way about for a week or two with no advanced reservations for lodging and decide each day what I want to do.
My next trip will be to fly to Brussels and then train from town to town (Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, Amsterdam), then fly out from Brussels after 2 weeks.

I found Brussels to be a complete bore.
Get out fast

The older I get the more I try to take.
Partly because I can afford to more now, I get more PTO, etc. but also because at 47, I am realizing that there are some things I just probably can't do now (or I could but it would be rough), and I need to "get them in" now.
I was in Las Vegas recently, and had a good time, but one day I walked 10.93 miles. ELEVEN fucking miles in a day. The other days hovered around 7-8.
I was surprisingly fine, but I had a blister on my foot, chafing from wearing and walking in jeans for 11 miles, etc. so younger gays, do it while you can.
I generally like doing "stuff" rather than site seeing/people watching. I rode all the rides in Vegas (rarely gambled), saw shows, etc. I like to be catered to so cruises are nice for me. I do not want to save money by eating at McDonalds, doing my own laundry at an AirBNB, etc.

I am definitely not a beach or resort person. I get up in the morning and want to go-go-go .... see everything and do everything I possibly can. I once did a long weekend with a friend who is exactly the opposite – vacationing for him is sleeping in, having long, leisurely meals and sitting around people-watching. I was bored out of my mind.

I use vacations to have as much sex as possible

I’m trying to travel internationally as much as I can while relatively young and have a steady income.
I’m sure, during retirement, I’ll have to budget more

I like to have people serve my every whim and do my bidding!

I stay home and sleep. No money for travel.

I love acting like a complete jackass in front of complete strangers

I’ve done a few cruises with family but think I’m over them. Also have done a few vacations where I try to see many cities in one country.
I think it’s time to slow down and do one city per vacation

I go all over. Mexico, France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the UK, SF, Ptown...blah blah.
If I can shove off this mortal coil having never gone on a cruise, then that's a successful life IMO. Jesus they sound just fucking awful.
Last few years, I've settled into holidays in Maine every summer. I just havent been feeling the plane rides and would rather just walk around a picturesque coastal town in sandals, eating ice cream and going to overpriced restaurants high on gummies.
WHHHHEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

Traveling is overrated.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
