On Cloud Sneakers
I’m a big fan of these amazing sneakers and glad to support a company that’s not Nike. These sneakers seem to be everywhere now - started small and had a cult following, mostly the Lululemon, white, affluent crowd. Look around the gym, the dog park, your coffee shop - they are everywhere.
Anyone else a fan?

Naw. They are okay, but lack the hot bro athletic swag of Nike or Adidas. Very Whole Foods middle age crowd

I have my first pair and they were comfortable out of the box. They're popular with a broader demo than Lululemon cultists--many more men than women. I tried them on because one of my usual brands redesigned their shoes affecting the fit and other favorite brands weren't in colors that I liked.
One brand that has surprised me is New Blalance--they recently seem to have gone from being a da/even gradad brand to one that appeals to a broad range young men.

So they are in pastels and not designed for anything remotely athletic. What's so amazing about them?

I'm not sure his review means anything. Anyone that used "epic fail" past 2008, let alone 9 months ago isn't someone you want advice from.

My friend was a devotee for a while, but she said she thinks they’ve changed recently. Not as comfortable and sizing all over the place.

They are very comfortable out of the box, but the "cloud" foam flattens out quickly. Also, if you walk on trails or anything other than pavement, those little air pockets on the soles fill up with small rocks that become impossible to remove.

They’re fine for wearing around but I went on a 4 mile walk in them and my feet were screaming at the end. Not worth the price. I’m sticking with Brooks.

r5 Yes, yes, you only care about the cool kids.
Well, perhaps the uncool kids would be better off looking into
Salomon or Saucony for everyday options
but overall, I like Brooks (offroad) and Merrell (road)

All these puffy sneakers have too much "design" in them. Less would be more.
These specific shoes look like they would add 20 years to your appearance.

OP- I can’t wear those sneakers because I have huge feet. My feet 👣 are size 17-4E.

R10 - that is a very scary reaction - you are totally mentally unbalanced and need serious help. No healthy person would make such a deranged comment. Do yourself a favor and get help. Quickly.
