I saw a tv special where it was said that since MJ was mentally and physically abused by a black man, he didn't want to see a black man in the mirror. He wanted to see a white woman.

Actually, that pic shows how makeup played a big part in contouring his face...slumming his nose etc, which we, as the public, judged to be painfully slim due to surgery. This looks more like 'showbiz' and pizazz than surgery. I think, OP, ur pic has had the opposite effect that u thought.

Jackson was severely abused by his father, it's bizarre to me that it has been made so light of (including by MJ). A closeted man with a penchant for little boys thrust into the spotlight at a tender age, arguably the most famous man of all time (right up there, anyway). Was he going to be normal? And black to boot although few cared about that seemingly - but he clearly did. I am pretty sure his father made fun of his skin and face among other things.

He did not want to look at all like his father, so he did what he could to alter his appearance. But he went from being a good looking young black male to a white female from outer space.

What happens when someone becomes so powerful that no one around them is saying no anymore.

R44 I totally agree. Many successful people who become rich or powerful surround themselves with only yes people. I order to maintain a healthy existence one needs to have people who are willing to call you out on your bullshit, or if you are going down the wrong path, or making poor decisions.

Multiple plastic surgeries? Bad idea.

Spending time with underage boys and having sleep overs? Bad idea.

Taking risk prescription drugs on your own which should only be taken under the direct supervision of a doctor and an anesthesiologist? Bad idea.
