June needn't have worried so much about her Beaver.

Ward was always so hard on the beaver.

Leave It To Beaver...one of the best TV shows ever.

R2- I don’t care about beaver. I am more concerned with Hugh Beaumont penis

R45 Mr. Beaumont's penis is in Mr. Beaumont's casket along with the rest of Mr. Beaumont, which is buried in his grave in a cemetery.
Unless he was cremated of course.

My dad turned 79 yesterday. It is a very strange thing- not something I ever gave a second thought to when I was younger. He'll be 80 next year. He had me when he was only 26, so... you know I'm not all that far behind.
Disturbing.

Beaver and Gilligan’s Island were my ‘safe place’ as a boy. Those shows helped me survive my abused childhood. I even pretended that I lived with the Cleavers- silly, I know..but as a boy it was the only tool I had to ‘fight back’

Everyone jokes about LITB but I think it was ahead of its time in some ways. The parents were clueless sometimes but then they felt bad about it and apologized. They never over reacted and the subtly deadpan way they reacted to smarmy Eddie Haskell was priceless.
Wally and Beaver weren’t over the top wisecracking kids. They didn’t sing or dance. They were just normal. One of the things I like best about the show was the compassionate way it treated animals. My favorite episode is the one where Beaver decides to trap a bunch of frogs at a pond to sell them but he can’t bring himself to do it because he was afraid they’d miss their families. So he took them all back to the pond.
To me that episode just summed up the whole series.

Eddie Haskell became a cultural phenomenon.

I gotta say- there were times in his older teen hood that Eddie was pretty damn hot.

Tony Dow was so beautiful. One of my first crushes as a young gayling. Oh the unspeakable things I wanted to do to him.

Nope, nothing terrible about it. Still laugh out loud funny and is still airing daily after 66 years.
