Breathless (1983) with Richard Gere
With the exception of maybe Jeff Bridges in Against All Odds, I can't think of a film which better captures male beauty and sex appeal. Richard Gere was so hot in this movie. And his willingness to undress only made him hotter.
Obviously it's no match for the Godard original, but I love the energy and sexiness of this film.
Hard to believe this movie is 40 years old.

Funny, I just watched this and I liked it. Doesn't compare to the original but it's its own thing and I love the rockabilly theme. I have a soft spot for "lovers on the run" movies like Bonnie and Clyde, They Live By Night, Badlands and Natural Born Killers. Tarantino obviously took notes from this.
Also Gere was hot as hell in this and got naked too. Yeah, his dick may not be the biggest but I'd tap that ass

This movie is silly but stylish and a lot of fun. Tarantino is a big fan.

Sorry for repeating you R1, but to confirm Tarantino admits to loving this movie and yeah, he definitely took notes.

I remember watching a VHS of this back in the day and I think that I left some tape erosion from replaying the dick shots. Yes Gere doesn't have a big one but back then we were pre-internet and anything nude was pounced on.

I saw the original Godard back in the 70s and I just watched it again, and I have to confess that both times -- IDGI. What's so great about it? Serious question for those here who seem to love it.
