Why was Mia Farrow never Oscar nominated?

Because she couldn't commit. Which is also a problem she had in other areas of her life.

I agree she has deserved to have been nominated a couple of times though, along with (even more egregious) Donald Sutherland.

She was above it all in nyc.

Mia was one of the original nepo babies. First her parents' connections opened doors for her. Then Sinatra, then Woody Allen. Everything was handed to her. Do you notice she only married around those who could DO things for her. No C or D level husband like Doris Day (all of them) or Esther Williams (the first one) or Judy Garland (all but Vincente.)

Now she's using Ronan.

She was never much of an actress.

She should have played the isabelle adjani role in the Diabolique remake.

She was good in Broadway Danny Rose and should have gotten a supporting actress nomination for that, but she's mostly just passable as an actress, and she's got no charisma at all. She's a wet mop turned psycho.

People said she was unlikable in The Great Gatsby as Daisy but wasn't Daisy supposed to be unlikable? Fitzgerald's daughter said Mia Farrow looked exactly as she imagined Daisy to be.

This is absolutely true, even when she’s given pretty good performances. If it weren’t for her parents she never would have even gotten on the map.

Rosemary's Baby would beg to differ but that's one of her few good roles.
