Lea Michele steps away from 'Funny Girl' as 2 year old son is hospitalized with 'scary health issue'
Lea Michele tweeted today that she will be out of FUNNY GIRL for today's matinee and evening shows, due to her 2 year old son "Ever" being hospitalized with what she calls 'a scary health issue'. She asked for "love and strength" via prayers from her millions of fans.
“I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of @funnygirlbway today,” the actress tweeted this morning. “We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for,” she continued.
Michele's next performance is scheduled for Friday night, as the actress does not perform on Thursday evenings in the show.

Whatever happened with Funny Girl and Lea - was it actually the tour de force that people were pretending it was going to be?
Was her run a stunning success and did she pack the house or did attendance drop off once the novelty wore off and stans had stopped buying tix?

I had no idea she had a child. I’m kind of shocked.
All the tabloid shit aside (no matter how true or untrue), she is clearly a type (capital) A personality with her career. I’m surprised she’d make the time.
