Normally, I wouldn't have bothered with the film. But Barry Keoghan was brilliant in The Banshees of Inisherin so it might be worth a look just for him.

I just remember the way he didn't show up to the Tonys when he wasn't nominated for "Fences" but everyone else was. Couldn't put his ego aside and support his castmates.

I absolutely LOVED "Gladiator", one of the best popcorn movies evah.

I don't mind Denzel Washington. I doubt, however, his role will be one as villain.

Maybe it flew over my head, but I never got the idea Maximus was Lucius' father, but, this was being discussed on the John Campea youtube show and somebody thought that was inferred in "Gladiator".

Certainly, we're to know that Maximus and Lucilla were former lovers, but, I never got the idea that Maximus was Lucius' father.

Not sure I like that being a potential plot arc in this sequel.
