I actually saw her in nyc in the early 80s and my then boyfriend told me she was on some soap opera he watched. (I don’t watch soaps.) She was absolutely fabulously gorgeous, RADIANT. When I went to see Temple of Doom I was like, “it’s that chick from 49th street!” But she was not nearly as beautiful onscreen as she was in real life.
