"Family" Nudist Camps - are they a front for pedophiles?
Honest question - I'm watching an old episode of Unsolved Mysteries that I've never seen and one of the stories is about a flim flam man who pulls a con at a "family-oriented" nudist camp. While there, he (of course) also sexually assaults a young girl. Even though this episode is from the late 80s (or early 90s), I did a quick google search and found several "family nudist camps" are still alive and kicking at the present time.
I don't have a problem with nudity within the family home and am not a prude, but I just think that anyone who would take their underaged kids to hang out at a "family" nudist camp (or even live, wtf!?) is not playing with a full deck and just asking for potential problems from undercover pederasts at these types of places.
Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge or opinion on this? Are they a front for pedophiles?

No, they weren’t. My Dad made us go so that he could swing. Period.

I'd love to hear from others on this. The guy in the UM episode was eventually caught and convicted of sexual battery (and apparently put away for LIFE) against a child under 12 years old, and this was at the "family nudist camp/compound."

Seems like at least 33% of those who would go to a family nudist camp would be pedophiles. If I were a parent, there is no way in hell that I would take my children to a nudist camp. If two adults want to swing, they could leave the kids at home. Frankly, I think swinging and parenting kids under 18 are incompatible.

I know nudist camps and nudists, and have visited a few. I never saw or intuited or suspected anything untoward involving children. If anything, it was more conventional in an old-fashioned way than I saw in everyday life. It was family-oriented, and adult-aimed activities (Happy Hour, late swimming with no kids) were bland. Sure, there were swingers, but nothing like a gay spa a friend and I were at, which was more like an open-air bathhouse vibe. One married MF couple at a conventional nudist camp fucked each other, other men, other women, with or without each other, and they both had offsite boyfriends and she had girlfriends, too. But nothing at their own place - they lived full time at the "residential resort."

If a family is going to a nudist camp one would assume that parents are supervising their children at all times so no perv can try anything with them.
