Love the hairy chest on him in 'American Gigolo'. AS the younger Julian Kaye he was far more interesting in the series than the older Julian Kaye.

Gabriel is not LaBelle.

I know Chalamet is widely hated here but I actually like him more for not being that good looking, I don't think Timothee is ugly but to me he is more special just because he isn't just another pretty face. He seems to be a pretty decent actor in the few movies I have seen him in. I know, I know, many of you hate him passionately and you are entitled to your opinion, I just don't share it, which is okay.

I'm watching American Gigolo right now and Gabriel LaBelle doesn't have a single hair on his chest.

R24 Did you get to the part where he goes into the bathroom and sees his girlfriend flung over the tub ? His shirt is mostly unbuttoned and he has hair on his chest.

Which episode (if you recall), R25? I watched the first two and there were several shirtless shots of LaBelle (playing both characters), as young Julian at the pool and on his 18th birthday when Olga is teaching him how to please a woman, as well as him playing Colin and in bed with his much older lover. He is completely hairless in all of those, so it would be super odd to see him with chest hair later on when both characters have been established.

I'm not saying the actor couldn't be hairy, I'm saying they have established both characters he plays as having a completely smooth chest. I'm more curious out of continuity's sake than anything else, as I don't necessarily find LaBelle all that attractive. Good actor, though.

Whenever there's an actor with a French name or who is French, people on here say he's competition for Chalamet. In most of his (Chalamet's) roles there's literally nothing that reads as French, but people seem to see him as having a French identity.

R26 The scenes are in the last few episodes, as he has (supposedly) gotten a few years older and recruits his girlfriend.
