My first encounter with David was not seeing him on the stage (He is a very good actor), but jacking off in the steam room of the David Barton gym.
Later, I did see his work on the stage, and I would hear from friends that he was quite aggressive in coming on to them, vastly overrating his appeal. He reached far outside his league.
Even later one of those friends told me that Pittu was proud of his ability to use the cuteness of his dog, Dagny, to divert attention from staff at Housing Works in the Village, while he switched price tags. "They charge way too much for things," was his defense.
And now this: Pittu is on probation for an incident on August 22, 2022, in Fairfield, Connecticut, where police arrived after onlookers called to report that a dog had been in a car--doors locked, windows rolled up--for more than half an hour. When the car was opened by firefighters, the temperature in the car was 117 degrees, and the dog was in peril, taken away and treated. Police reported that Pittu acknowledged that he knew it was too hot, but he showed no remorse. The dog--named Dagny after the Ayn Rand character; not sure why the police report lists the name as Dagmar--was returned to Pittu, but in December Pittu was sentenced to 25 hours of community service at a Fairfield animal shelter, and his charge will be dropped if the stays out of trouble for two years.
Here's hoping he stays out of steam rooms and Housing Works.
The dick is not bad, but not all that.
