They sure as fuck don’t make movies, much less trailers, like the used to.
FWIW, my Dad had no issue taking my brothers and me to see this at the Roadium Drive-in (South Bay/Torrance—L.A.).
Funnily enough: my parents forbade us from having or playing with GI-Joe or any toy gun. One of their few “mandates” as 70s parents.

R8 Vietnam.
Before Vietnam, it was an honor to serve your country. With the hell of Vietnam, the draft, and the exemptions, really only the poor and uneducated fought.

R9, you are so right and what you posted is just the tip of the iceberg as to what's been happening to American males for, now, two generations.

In the scene near the end, when Marvin is driving the Jeep over a bridge, he was drunk as a skunk. The director had to pull him out of some bar. Bronson was ready to kill him for endangering him.

Nothing is more enjoyable than having a scotch and watching The Dirty Dozen.

R17, I can think of 1 thing more enjoyable-
A scotch while watching The Dirty Dozen followed by a scotch while watching The Great Escape. But you need stamina.
