Cher did not look alright, she was tbe worst one of the lot with the yak wig, and appears to be about 4' tall in those ugly pants. I usually think Amy Poehler is fug, but she presented well, and Alison Janney had a surprising bit of old-fashioned glamour. Love Carol, what a career.

Loved the Carol Burnett Show when younger but, as the case with most comedy, it largely did not age well.

No, I agree certain parts haven't aged well; however, the Family sketches, and the movie spoofs hold up; I love the opening/bump up the lights segment.

Tim Conway playing a Nazi dentist (with a Hitler mustache) torturing Harvey Korman, on the other hand, is, appropriately enough, torture to sit through.

The cast members breaking one another up became so damned tiresome and so self-indulgent. Seeing them having more fun than the audience was a bore.

I don’t recall Conway portraying the dentist as a Nazi, R63. And it’s not like he was parodying Marathon Man, a movie then still years from being made.

I don't recall all the details, R64. I came across it on a mesothelioma channel a while back and just remember that it was putrid and about as funny as a cholera epidemic. But then, as much as I always liked Carol, she did have at least one major flaw. She actually believed that Tim Conway was funny.

Those are two separate sketches, R63. The Dentist is one, The Interrogator, another.

Whoever styled Kristen Wiig should apologize. Same with (and especially) Maya Rudolph. Both are attractive women, but not like that. Jane and Allison look fantastic. As does our dear Bernadette (when has she not?).
