The White Lotus does it again. Jennifer gives the best acceptance speeches. So full of life, gratitude and joy.

And she just wants to say...

Love that kookie, whacky, talented ol' broad.

by Anonymousreply 1February 27, 2023 5:16 AM

Good for her. I'm glad she's getting her due after all these years.

by Anonymousreply 2February 27, 2023 5:17 AM

So good to see all these old gals finally getting their long overdue recognition

by Anonymousreply 3February 27, 2023 5:22 AM

We are not trying to kill you, Jennifer. We love you.

by Anonymousreply 4February 27, 2023 5:43 AM

She was out of breath for the first half of that speech, and it seems the oxygen finally kicked in for the second half.

by Anonymousreply 5February 27, 2023 6:03 AM

You can't help but love her.

by Anonymousreply 6February 27, 2023 6:07 AM

Her first try at TikTok. Lol.

She's bloated!

by Anonymousreply 8February 27, 2023 6:14 AM

She's wonderful though I do feel bad that Laura Linney never gets recognized for her incredible work in Ozark. Also, shouldn't Jennifer be nominated in a category for limited series or anthology series? Or does SAG do things differently than Emmys etc?

by Anonymousreply 9February 27, 2023 6:29 AM

Finally, Jennifer's turn to shine. Love her.

by Anonymousreply 10February 27, 2023 6:47 AM

Reese Witherspoon has really let herself go….

by Anonymousreply 11February 27, 2023 6:52 AM

I like her just fine; she was good in all the Guest films and the other things she's done, but she always pretty much just plays herself at this point.

But I'm already sick of all the fawning over her. I'm like her crabby masseuse character on Seinfeld, sick of George blowing smoke up her ass and trying to get her to like him.

I get that R12, she's not the world's greatest actress, but she does have an endearing star quality.

Would I like to see her Ophelia opposite Sir Kenneth Brannagh at the National? Probably not. But would I like to see her in a quality comedic role going forward? Most definitely.

by Anonymousreply 13February 27, 2023 7:36 AM

Is she on drugs or something? She’s bloated and I was afraid that her spanks were going to break loose and kill those in the front row. But at least she made it be known that she was getting cock after the show so good for her.

[quote] But at least she made it be known that she was getting cock after the show so good for her.

When she mentioned her "date" as her good friend of 20 years, I assumed he was a gay guy.

But then it also seemed like they were going to have sex later.

I'm so confused.

Laura Linney is a brilliant actress, and sadly never wins. Give that woman an award!!

by Anonymousreply 16February 27, 2023 8:21 AM

Her moment to shine, she was totally sincere and overjoyed, a wonderful time for her to be in the spotlight and lauded, such a long steady career, and now the recognition she so well deserved... :-)

by Anonymousreply 17February 27, 2023 8:47 AM

I've only seen her in the Christopher Guest films and her guest appearance on Sex and the City and she was perfect (and so funny) in each role. Love her.

by Anonymousreply 18February 27, 2023 10:36 AM

Ok we get it.. everyone loves her.. give her a popularity award but all these "acting" awards are ridiculous. Laura Linney or Zendaya should have won this category, hands down.

by Anonymousreply 19February 27, 2023 11:21 AM

Love this woman. She's so easy to like, and attractive too.

by Anonymousreply 20February 27, 2023 11:32 AM

R14 & R15, Tim Bagley, Jennifer’s date, is openly gay, which is why everyone laughed at what she said.

by Anonymousreply 21February 27, 2023 11:46 AM

So did she get cock after the SAG’s? Or did she have to diddle herself? She was horny!
