I'd like to see a study on the negative effects on society after black culture became more mainstream.

Well, that's unfortunate. Especially considering how carefully her sister has threaded the line by consistently speaking about inclusion without getting overly political. Dolly is one smart businesswoman. Her sister, not so much. What's also frustrating is, if you read through her feed, you'll see that Stella isn't an out and out hillbilly bigot. She speaks up for women's rights -- including women's reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights and against corruption in industry.

But, she's also an elderly white woman and even people who have otherwise fairly progressive views can have blinders on when it comes to some things as she apparently does on these topics.

After Juneteenth was made a holiday, my Native American friend texted me saying “well, the blacks got another one”

I am grateful for 'the blacks" insisting on another three day weekend added to my summer holiday. It won't make a difference to aged dataloungers who have been retired from the workforce since the Clinton administration. But for everyone else who works, a three day holiday during the summer is something to celebrate.

Dolly and Carl Dean were my neighbors for several years and they were some of the nicest people that I've ever met. I don't believe for a second that Dolly has a racist bone in her body. I've never met Stella, so I have no idea what she's like.
