Butler will hold up better with the passage of years than Chalamet will. I'm not exactly on Butler's love train—I thought he was fine on limited duty in OUATIH and was the best thing about an all-too-characteristic Baztardization of Elvis's story—but I can see him playing the typical range of grown-up-guy roles as he ages: lawyers, detectives, athletes, etc. Chalamet is someone who lucked into the right project at the right time and has "fading 'youth' star" written all over him. If he hadn't received a second wind from Dune (in which he's really just a cog in the machinery; even great actors like Oscar Isaac tend to fade into the sand in it), he's be headed for WHETville right now.
