Just catching up on this. Didn't realise they were married! Or was it a mock wedding?

Sam C. was hotter than Lukas, but Chris clearly wants someone who's famous. Now admittedly Lukas isn't a major name, but he's been on several TV programs recently and is seen (by some) as a 'rising star', which is far more attractive to Chris than Sam's face and body. Chris also knows many celebrities who could give Lukas a leg up in the industry, so they're both getting something out of this. I doubt it'll last once the need for each other ends up unbalanced.

As others have said, I would love to be proven wrong, because a depressingly high proportion of gay relationships end in tears and -- as an old romantic at heart -- I would love to see a gay marriage that lasts. Sadly I don't see it happening here, though.
