I’d never heard of TMZ until one of their producers testified in the Depp-Heard divorce trial. His testimony was clear, succinct, and to the point. I had an incredibly hard time putting his open and forthcoming demeanor together with his job, which was to receive tips, send out the paps, and ensure that TMZ could use what they supplied.
