Ralph Fiennes
In a range of important roles, he's demonstrated a range of versatility and breadth of talent, which has attracted the admiration of Hollywood and the London stage alike. He calls the theatre his "base camp," and in classic roles, including a much acclaimed Hamlet, he has secured it safely.
Beyond this, as the psychopathic Nazi in Schindler's List, as the passionate Count in The English Patient, and as the fraudulent academic in Quiz Show, he's shown he knows how to be a star as well.
The eldest of six children, his decision to become an actor didn't crystalize until quite late, but that's proved no obstacle to his success. Of acting, he says, "I like the hideaway-ness of it. I've often thought I've felt more secure in a part than everyday life."
Let's discuss the English actor Ralph Fiennes.

In interviews, he's always such a simple, down-to-earth presence. Despite the odd name and dramatic training, he's pretty dorky in his interests. He read every Bond novel a dozen times, and still knows every villain and Bond girl by heart. He claims not to have had too many girlfriends in his youth, and still comes across a bit sheepish for a man of his sex appeal.

Yup, that's definitely Ralph Fiennes in that picture.

I saw his Hamlet on TV Broadway. It was certainly one of the fastest in my experience though not the best. I have liked him a lot in many films - check out both him and Tilda Swinton in A Bigger Splash.

Ralph Fiennes pronounces his first name the same as this important composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.
He composed this extremely luscious piece you must listen as you lie comfortably in a darkened room, nude—

There’s an “l” and a “ph” (pronounced like “f”) in the word. He’s a fancy man, but it’s Ralph. Like the grocery store.

Interesting about the Bond fetish. I was kinda surprised to see him step into the role of M. It seems like a bit of a commitment. Unlike Javier's one and done

I do love he’s a bit of a sleaze but don’t understand his fondness for Andy Cohen.

He is well known to be a (straight) sex freak. But otherwise he comes across as a smart and fairly down-to-earth guy. he doesn't seem to beg for attention, and he didn't seem to be sad about transitioning from leads to supporting character roles.
I've liked him better in the character roles, since he was typecast when he was hotter and younger as arrogant aristocratic types. But he has much more to offer than just that. He was splendid in "The Dig" as the archaeologist/excavator.

Ralph is most famous for fucking a Qantas employee during a flight.

My favourite actor, and so far the superior of your Leos and your Pitts and all the assholes who usually get showered with awards. Not a hammy bone in him, one of the few who genuinely disappears into a role. He was excellent in The English Patient and one of his best roles is in the little-seen Katherine Bigelow-directed Strange Days from 1995. He was mesmerizing as the sad sack hung up on his ex, and that final scene with Angela Bassett was so good.

Also agree with the poster above that he was wonderful in The Dig.

I first saw and learned about him, like many in my generation, thanks to Harry Potter. But man, was that his worst role/performance ever. The scariest person in the book, comes off as a theater kid having a temper tantrum. Thankfully, Fiennes is good to almost great in most everything else he's done. But his portrayal of Voldemort was simply wrong.

Just yesterday I watched "The Forgiven". The movie was too long, the characters, gay and straight, not much more than stereotypes, and then there is the brilliant Fiennes. The way he says "enchanté" to a woman he despises on sight is enough to keep you in the movie.

The only role I didn’t like hi in was The Reader. I forgave him for that when I saw The Grand Budapest Hotel. He’s not ugly now, but very average looking to the point where you can’t tell how hot he once was.

Joseph is the better looking of the two, but he’s not much of an actor. I still remember that ridiculous softcore porn film he did with Heather Graham. I ignored the bad acting because he had quite a lot of hot sex scenes showing his nicely toned ass.
