Tasteful friends, here's a glimpse of Marlo Thomas' duplex penthouse

She's mostly displaying her line of Williams-Sonoma tableware, but you get a look at a few rooms of the apartment.

Im a person who loves shopping and spending money.

The Williams Sonoma line does not interest me

by Anonymousreply 2February 14, 2023 7:55 PM

Where's her glass coffee table ?

by Anonymousreply 3February 14, 2023 8:17 PM

I hate how she looks.

by Anonymousreply 4February 14, 2023 8:21 PM

What the fuck are those dining room chairs?!?! 🤮

by Anonymousreply 5February 14, 2023 8:28 PM

No snark because of the pic with the friendly, happy dog

by Anonymousreply 6February 14, 2023 8:32 PM

That's very nice of her to let the dog sit on the couch.

by Anonymousreply 7February 14, 2023 8:37 PM

She looks so fat.

by Anonymousreply 8February 14, 2023 8:52 PM

One of her former butlers who worked for her at that apartment wrote a scathing book about Marlo.

by Anonymousreply 9February 14, 2023 10:32 PM

From what I can see, it’s a nice, comfortable apartment and the view is beautiful. No complaints here.

by Anonymousreply 10February 14, 2023 10:47 PM

I’d like to see more photos of that posh duplex and fewer images of those bits of tat for sale at Williams-Sonoma. The apartment looks pretty gorgeous. She does, too.

I know she’s allegedly a grouch, but I have a soft spot for her because “Free To Be You And Me” was a hugely positive message I got as a small kid. It made me feel less different, so I admire her for that.

That dog (golden retriever?) photographed beautifully.

by Anonymousreply 11February 14, 2023 11:04 PM

Where is Phil?

by Anonymousreply 12February 14, 2023 11:37 PM

I like the dog.

by Anonymousreply 13February 15, 2023 1:26 AM

“SHE WAS HUGGGE… 🤗”

by Anonymousreply 14February 15, 2023 1:28 AM

She was gorgeous.

Plain.

by Anonymousreply 16February 15, 2023 9:14 AM

I'd like more of a glimpse of her take on why she's such a renowned CUNT.

by Anonymousreply 17February 15, 2023 9:19 AM

She's probably bitter because That Girl was such a terrible show.

I miss the old DL, where we'd have had a 600-reply thread on this sentence alone.

by Anonymousreply 19February 15, 2023 10:55 AM

I miss Bremner Wafers, r19. And they’d have taken up 1/4” less room on the tray.

by Anonymousreply 20February 15, 2023 10:58 AM

I can't believe THIS of all things is behind a paywall. The archive version doesn't let you look at the photos. Unbelievable. It's an advertisement!

by Anonymousreply 21February 15, 2023 10:59 AM

I can smell a faint whiff of old lady pee through the screen.

by Anonymousreply 22February 15, 2023 11:02 AM

Does she stink - down there???

by Anonymousreply 23February 15, 2023 11:05 AM

She had the legs of an old pine dining table shortened because it was the only way she could find a coffee table with sufficient surface space for the multitude of hors d’oeuvres that are standard at her parties. A bonus: the table has pullout extensions for guests to easily reach and rest their drinks.

Daddy brought it down from Brewster.

- You designed it yourself?

- Well, I mean I supervised.

by Anonymousreply 25February 15, 2023 12:13 PM

Help me.

by Anonymousreply 26February 15, 2023 12:23 PM

The other side of the "LOVE" pillow says "CUNT."

by Anonymousreply 27February 15, 2023 12:35 PM

R9, yep. She has a pretty stiff rep as not a nice woman unlike her image and partnership with Phil who is a very nice guy.

by Anonymousreply 28February 15, 2023 12:50 PM

Can someone explain why Williams-Sonoma would engage an 85 year old actress to design their tabletop collection ? It's not like Thomas has a history of outstanding, award-winning design career behind her, where generations are familiar with her and her work and she has achieved 'iconic' status in the design industry. Is her target audience those consumers 80 years old and older ?
