Her social media habits suggest the same IMO. I have always enjoyed her as an actress but find her personality insufferable these days.

The shift in her personality seemed to become evident when she made a comeback with Knives Out and the new Halloween movies. I hope she wins the Academy Award. I have never seen an actor be as enthusiastic about a film they're in as Jamie has been for Everything Everywhere All at Once. Starring in this movie was clearly a life changing decision for her, and arguably one of the most important films she has ever been a part of. It's impacted so many lives by exploring deep topics like what it means to be human and what it means to love. People say Jamie didn't deserve her nomination but I beg to differ. Her character arc is one of the most interesting parts of the movie. How she changes from being such a spiteful bitch at the beginning of the movie, to having compassion at the end. All because someone showed compassion to her and told her she isn't the unlovable thing she thought she was for so many years. And that's not to mention all the absurd things she had to do like the hot dog fingers and this IRS worker doing martial arts in other dimensions. Yet she took it seriously and did a great job.

It would be great to see Jamie's sheer enthusiasm be rewarded with the Oscar trophy. But if not, history is always going to remember her as "Academy Award nominee Jamie Lee Curtis" just the same.
