He used to be hot to me but now his views make him repulsive. I thought he was a liberal Christian type, I know his parents are fundies. I swear on Twitter, he said his version of Christianity was more like Buddhism. Turns out he probably was always a fundie and his cult is one of those New Age Christian cults that are probably homophobic and sexist and Republican under the hippie demeanor.

And also he may have joined a Christian cult that promised it was all progressive and gradually gained control over him and indoctrinated him with right-wing beliefs. This may be similar to Joshua Bassett's situation. These cult are very sneaky and rush to baptize and make you a member with love-bombing, sense of community and free perks. Once they get your claws into you, they slowly take control of your life. This is what happened with Justin Bieber with Hillsong and also Tom Cruise with Scientology. A lot of these celebrities are not educated or bright people.
