Loved them!
I remember buying First Band On the Moon and Erykah Badu's Baduizm the same day.
Yeah, I liked them. They went a different direction after FBOTM and "Love Fool" catapulted them to stardom. I like that whole album - pure pop; art pop; a splash of rock. Your New Cuckoo, Losers, and that wonderfully ridiculous Iron Man cover were probably my favorites. I do really like Love Fool even if it was played to death.

Nina Persson was adorable. Most of the guys were hot and/or cute.

Wow, I completely forgot this band existed.

One of my favorite bands forever.
They were so much beyond “Lovefool,” and Peter Svensson, the guitarist and primary songwriter, has aged like fine wine.
Speaking of which, here’s “I Need Some Fine Wine, and You, You Need to Be Nicer” off their last album in 2005.

Love me, Love me.
I was more of a Dido fan, though.

I loved this song. It was also the only modern song (from after the time period) that was ever played during Mad Men.

Nina Persson did a great cover of The Bluest Eyes in Texas for the movie Boys Don't Cry.

The Life album that preceded FBOTM is great kitschy pop fun. Gran Turismo after FBOTM is a real change up.
