Furley or the Roepers?

Which landlord(s) on "Three's Company" do you prefer and why?

by Anonymousreply 21February 11, 2023 12:17 AM

Sophie's Choice.

by Anonymousreply 1February 10, 2023 9:04 PM

Er, the *Ropers.* Apologies!

by Anonymousreply 2February 10, 2023 9:04 PM

Furley was more of a "real" character.

Helen wanting her husband to fuck her was literally the main plot between her and Stanley.

by Anonymousreply 3February 10, 2023 9:06 PM

What R3 said.

by Anonymousreply 4February 10, 2023 9:09 PM

R3 I also took a class on flower arranging, you bitch!

by Anonymousreply 5February 10, 2023 9:19 PM

The legacy of the Ropers is forever tainted by that dumpster fire spinoff they were saddled with. I would've welcomed them back to 3C (and Ralph could've moved in with Larry).

by Anonymousreply 6February 10, 2023 9:24 PM

The Ropers. Furley got grating.

Stanley looking into the camera (usually after doing some mincing bullshit) was always hysterical.

by Anonymousreply 7February 10, 2023 9:24 PM

I appreciated that Stanley didn't want his wife to work outside of the home and got a meager allowance to buy things like plastic statement jewelry and caftans.

This is an arraignment I could only aspire to.

by Anonymousreply 8February 10, 2023 9:26 PM

Furleys wardrobe was hysterical, but the Ropers.

by Anonymousreply 9February 10, 2023 9:26 PM

Mrs. Roper

by Anonymousreply 10February 10, 2023 9:27 PM

Furley = closeted queen. So many ascots.

by Anonymousreply 11February 10, 2023 9:28 PM

R11 Furley didn't own any clothes made from natural fibers. He always looked flammable. Pun intended.

by Anonymousreply 12February 10, 2023 9:30 PM

Furley all the way.

He was a pisser. Especially his “karate stance” when he thought Jack was hitting on him.

That and “Open up! It’s RF.”

by Anonymousreply 13February 10, 2023 9:37 PM

Hi. I look like Jerri Blank now.

by Anonymousreply 14February 10, 2023 9:44 PM

Furley.

by Anonymousreply 15February 10, 2023 9:45 PM

Totally The Ropers.

by Anonymousreply 16February 10, 2023 9:46 PM

Definitely The Ropers

And this should have been a poll

by Anonymousreply 17February 10, 2023 9:55 PM

R17 If this were a poll, you could just vote and move on to another thread. This way, I'm generating/forcing conversation. Cunt.

by Anonymousreply 18February 10, 2023 10:37 PM

Geez, touchy.

by Anonymousreply 19February 10, 2023 10:40 PM

The Ropers got fucked. They had a certain amount of time that they could return to Three's Company if their spin off was cancelled and the network canceled it just after it expired.

by Anonymousreply 20February 10, 2023 11:28 PM

The Ropers, but mainly because the show was better at that point. Then Suzanne Somers held the show hostage, they dumped her and replaced her with Jenilee, then Priscilla, and finally married off Janet and gave Jack a crappy spinoff - all of which was presided over by Ralph Furley.

Guilt by association.
