Straight actors playing gay really isn't that big a deal and has it ever been since the 1960s? It seems commonplace in Hollywood for straight actors to seek out gay roles to add cred to your resume and get an Oscar. Only closet case actors oppose it for obvious reasons.

He's really tall. Usually actors are short because it's easier to fit them on camera. And making a short person look taller is much easier than making a tall person look shorter. But he's sexy, so that helps.

Out of curiosity I watched The Kissing Booth from 2018. A California teen HS movie. Elordi has a fantastic huge body in this. His face is blandly handsome, not breathtaking. The movie was diverting enough to keep on while I cooked and cleaned in my kitchen. Did I mention what a tall drink of water he is? I may even watch parts 2 and 3!
