People have figured out that wee widdle bitch Elon Musk has been removing blocks from his account and others, because it raises their number of views.
With the blue checked accounts always listed first underneath a tweet, and with them being shown first in search results as well, all Twitter has to do is remove all the blocks people have put on their accounts. That means they'll get a ton of views from people who stumble across them in comments and search results. Sure, they'll block those accounts again, but Twitter will just remove the block again. I know this because it happened with Elon. I've had to block him three times now, the block always "disappears."

Is Elon too stupid to realize that most of his followers don't really exist?

Musk's testimony in a recent lawsuit detailed some of his health problems, some related to his purchase of Twitter.
[quote] This isn't the first time that Musk has mentioned his health problems, with the Twitter CEO saying to a lawyer during his trial over his "funding secured" tweet to take Tesla private, "I had trouble sleeping last night, so unfortunately, I'm not at my best. I'm sorry for squirming around. I have quite severe back pain." The report states that Musk has experienced back and neck pain for many years now and has even gone through two surgeries aimed at alleviating the pain.
What is the source of his back pain? Is it from carrying the weight of the world on his back? Or is it this:
[quote] Notably, Musk's back pain was caused by the Tesla CEO attempting to throw a 350-pound sumo wrestler to the ground around 10 years ago, which "cost me smashing my c5-c6 disc & 8 years of mega back pain," according to a 2022 tweet.
[quote] Musk replied to the WSJ report on Twitter, writing that the last three months were "extremely tough" as he had to "save Twitter from bankruptcy" while also performing the essential everyday duties at both Tesla and SpaceX. It's no surprise that Musk's extreme workload caused by duties at SpaceX, Tesla, and what was a failing Twitter, has led to the CEO struggle to get sleep. Musk even went as far as to say that he wouldn't wish "that pain on anyone".

[quote] he had to "save Twitter from bankruptcy"
It's appropriate that he be tasked with saving Twitter from bankruptcy since he is the proximate cause of said bankruptcy. He chased away almost 2 billion dollars of advertiser revenue within a month of taking over with his shit-posting and firing content moderators, and he also brought 1.5 BILLION dollars of additional interest expense onto the company's profit and loss statement from the financing of the purchase of Twitter.

He ruined his back because he thought he was such a tough guy that he could take on a professional sumo wrestler? Karma can be pretty funny sometimes!

He is right about how bad back pain can be, and how it can alter your thinking and your life. And even the richest man in the world is not able to avoid it after many doctor consultations and surgeries. I wonder if he is on pain meds all the time now and what that is doing to him.

Gizmado, com restates the story of the firing this way:
[quote] Elon Musk Seems to Think His Own Employees Are Shadowbanning Him
[quote] Musk reportedly sacked one of Twitter's engineers after they suggested his lower-than-normal engagement might be because people aren't interested in him.
[quote] The billionaire called a meeting over the relatively low number of impressions his tweets have been getting recently. In response, engineers attempted to demonstrate with data that maybe people are just tired of hearing from and about Musk. The Twitter workers showed the CEO a Google trend chart that illustrates the amount of interest in Musk has fallen by a factor of 10 since April 2022, along with other internal data.
[quote] In a retaliatory outburst, Musk sacked one of the engineers on the spot. âYouâre fired, youâre fired,â he declared, according to Platformerâs journalists and attributed to unnamed sources close to the matter.
[quote] The billionaire has further reportedly asked employees to spend their already stretched time keeping track of how often each of his posts are recommended to Twitter users.

I could testify in the defense of the fired employee who said maybe people aren't that into you (Musk) anymore. When he crashed into Twitter offices and took over last year, I was reading his Twitter posts every day for at least a one week or more. Now I only look at his tweets if something blows up, so maybe once every two weeks or so.
Don't blame your programming engineers for your low engagement numbers! I did it!

Did you know Elon has a Chinese doppelgÀnger? (This will be on the test.)
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 10, 2023 7:42 PM |
I had no choice but to close a legacy account after the takeover. Closed accounts = declining viewership.
