After about 16 years of this he finally did kill himself two years ago after his last cycle of unmedicated mania & psychosis. Britney has attempted to take her own life several times so of course her loved ones know the signs which lead up to it. I had to unfollow my ex because it was too painful to watch him publicly unravel each time he would ditch his meds. I was very close to him for 20 years after our break up so I was always there to try to intervene and get him help all the way until the end. Britney’s posts remind me of my ex’s. The “free Britney” morons can all go fuck off.

Honestly I've accepted that annihilationism may be the best resolution here. She's just too rich to not be exploited. It used to be that men could get their unwanted wives locked up in a psychiatric hospital, which was barbaric, but that practice stopped decades ago. There is no ability to take control of their assets and freedom the way the US allows. Also, there are far madder people walking the streets, committing violent crimes, and being bailed within hours - also only in the US.

The whole US mental health system seems broken in the extreme, and, as someone upthread said, Britney's family in particular lacks all credibility. They shot their wad once it was shown they were all living off of Britney during their previous conservatorship of her.

They don't understand mental illness is not taken seriously enough in The US, R111. Also if this wasn't Britney fucking Spears, they wouldn't even have sympathy for her. There's so many mentally unstable or mentally disabled people who are lucid or functional enough to make their Ken choices but aren't able to manage their illness or disability. Thus many end up homeless, unemployed, in and out of jail and dying early. It's extremely difficult for families to care for these people due to expenses and they get in trouble a lot, can be difficult to deal with, a huge burden and have so many medical problems.
