The skank who ruined Aziz Ansari‘s career with her “revised consent”? Well she’s back! She’s back on all her socials and at TikTok with their beauty department. Living her best life. She is like literally so cool!

R12 He has a career, but nowhere where it could have been. He was everywhere for a moment and then, gone.
What happened to him was ridiculous. The woman wasn’t raped. She wasn’t coerced. She willingly had sex with him. I am still confused as to why he was canceled.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 7, 2023 8:08 PM |
I love that she’s probably just like “ooopsie” about the whole situation. You just know she’s created an entire scripted narrative where she’s the ultimate victim in the situation.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 7, 2023 8:09 PM |
R19 it was a hair-trigger reaction. She basically said “it felt creepy in my head but I said nothing, he should have known because I looked to the side twice” that was the basics of it.

I'm a woman and I've thought about this story a lot over the years. It represents everything that's wrong with the MeToo movement--when all men became the enemy.
I'm in my 50s and of the generation when it was still OK for guys to act like complete asses with women and the responsibility was on us for preventing the behavior. Brett Kavanaugh is my contemporary and his behavior rings very true. So, I do believe many women when they talk about being sexually abused/humiliated/exploited.
But I also know when it's bullshit--whether it's a false accusation or an exaggerated claim of abuse. And this is a great example of the later. The guy was attracted to his woman and tried to kiss her a couple of times. Big deal. He didn't force himself on her. Women do the same thing to guys they have crushes on. I don't know if she ruined his career but she certainly damaged it and labeled him a sex pest.
It was completely unnecessary and malicious, and damages the believability/credibility of women who have suffered abuse.

It’s incredibly unjust for Ansari to be framed as a predator when the events described didn’t suggest that. However, it doesn’t seem quite right to focus blame solely on the woman involved. The article about her experience was written by Katie Way, now a staff writer for Vice, and published on a site called Babe.Net, which incentivized shocking stories at the expense of truth and responsible journalism.
No doubt this person is dumb as a bag of hair, undoubtedly a social climber, and if she had any sense she’d drop out of public life, but she was also encouraged to believe she was blowing the lid off an important “Me Too” moment. The people who profited off her story and used it to promote themselves, knowing she was full of shit, deserve some blame.

r19 r 21 how dare you! you can change your mind at any time.
women are fragile creatures that need shelter and protection from the world... they lack personal agency, reason and accountability.
incels, you're all incels.
[quote] Men’s liberationists always bring up ‘confronting their own feelings about men’ by which they mean homosexuality. Male homosexuality is an extension of the reactionary club (meaning both group and weapon). The growth of gay liberation carries contempt for women to the ultimate: total segregation. The desire of men to ‘explore their homosexuality’ really means encouraging the possibility of homosexuality as a reaction against feminist demands. This is the reason the movement for “gay rights” received much more support only after women’s liberation became a mass movement. www carolhanisch org

Allegation of sexual misconduct
In January 2018, a woman using the pseudonym "Grace" accused Ansari of sexual misconduct in an article on Babe.net, a website that was aimed at Millennial and Gen-Z readers. According to the article, the woman later texted Ansari expressing her discomfort, and he replied to her with an apology.
Media critic Allison Davis, who later interviewed the article's author, Katie Way, called the Babe.net article "some combination of as-told-to and reported piece and morning-after group-chat gossip", saying that it became a "flashpoint of discussion about #MeToo". There was disagreement in media commentary as to whether the incident described in the Babe article constituted sexual misconduct. Some agreed with Ansari, who stated that the encounter "by all indications was completely consensual," while others stated that his actions were misogynistic, lacked affirmative consent, and spoke to a larger culture of harmful male expectations. Others say that Ansari's actions did not constitute sexual misconduct and that his accuser's narrative trivializes the #MeToo movement against forms of sexual abuse. Way was criticized for her handling of the story and for not following accepted journalistic standards. For The Atlantic, James Hamblin wrote that these "stories of gray areas are exactly what …need to be told and discussed." "Even Ansari, the semi-ironic expert who authored a book on interpersonal communication was seeing something totally different from his date, Grace", who felt coerced. Ansari briefly receded from the public eye following the incident and resumed performing stand-up comedy in May 2018.
